HHL Medical Necessity Review™

How HSA/FSA reimbursement works

  1. Complete a secure medical-necessity review. It is complimentary and separate from any purchase.
  2. A physician decides whether HHL Condition Support is medically appropriate for an established condition. She may approve, ask for more information, recommend a different evaluation, or decline.
  3. If a Letter of Medical Necessity is issued, you may choose to join HHL Condition Support.
  4. Your documentation packet includes your letter, receipt, and a statement of services provided.

HSA

HSA funds generally roll over from year to year. You may be able to reimburse yourself for qualified medical expenses incurred after your HSA was established, subject to applicable rules and recordkeeping requirements.

FSA

FSA funds and deadlines depend on your employer's plan. Some plans provide a carryover or grace period. Expenses generally must be incurred within the applicable coverage period, and future services cannot simply be reimbursed in advance.

If your FSA plan year is ending, check your remaining balance, plan deadlines, and whether HHL Condition Support may qualify based on your individual medical circumstances.

Check your plan documents or benefit administrator for your specific deadline and substantiation requirements. This page is not tax advice.
